Immigrant Archive Project: Sergio Diaz (Cuban)

Sergio Diaz was just a boy when he arrived in the U.S. alone. He was one of thousands of unaccompanied minors who fled communist Cuba as part of “Operation Pedro Pan.” Today, he is the Los Angeles Deputy Chief of Police.
