Our fearless leader, Brad, is back from eight glorious days of vacation in Italy, in Rome and Florence, that he shared with his wife Mira, son, and daughter.
His 5 Observations/Highlights:
1) That the Italians, for whatever reason, think they’re the political laighingstocks of the world.
2) Gobbling down the most luscious vanilla ice cream at a place in San Gimignano that’s won the title of The World’s Best Homemade Ice Cream four years running.
3) His kids making pizza in the back ovens of a restaurant in Florence.
4) Drikning the best hot chocolate he’s ever had at a cafe overlooking the famous Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
5) Stopping over briefly in the city of Siena, which has parts that look the way they did in the Middle Ages.
